Partnering with Tata teleservices, there has been released BlackBerry Curve 8530 in India by RIM at price tag of Rs. 18990. Tata Teleservice’s CDMA customers will be able to get the handset which offers them a host of cutting edge specs including email, messaging, social networking, multimedia and entertainment.
Commenting on the event, Pradeep Dwivedi, Senior Vice President, Tata Teleservices said, “The CDMA smartphone market is developing rapidly. The handset which is equipped with a full QWERTY keypad, is enamored with a range of popular specs including 256 MB flash memory, 528 MHz next generation processors, built in Wi-Fi [802.11 b/g], and GPS along with location based applications, 2 MP built in camera, browser and multimedia player [plays out nearly all the popular media formats including MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV9, MP3, AMR-NB etc.].
