New Delhi - There aren’t too many touchscreen mobile phones when it comes to selecting mobile phones with CDMA Connectivity in India. In fact, the whole CDMA Mobile Phone market is very cramped and it is currently focused only on the cheaper consumer mobile phones. In this situation, it is no surprise that a well advanced handset like Samsung Corby will be highly greeted by the CDMA Subscribers throughout India. What’s more, it will support the high speed broadband with speeds of up to 2.4 MBps.
Currently, the phone will be available from Tata Indicom, the CDMA mobile service from Tata Teleservices. It will be the first high speed data enabled CDMA mobile device to be available to all Tata Indicom customers in India. Both prepaid and postpaid mobile subscribers can now access their personal mobile accounts, social networking sites and do high speed internet surfing on the phone.
Data Tariff and Charges
The Tata Indicom Postpaid subscribers can avail a free trial usage of 10 GB for 2 months and prepaid subscribers will have to pay a charge of Re 1 per MB data upload/download. There are vouchers available to cut down the cost to 50 paise per MB throughout the day with RCV Rs. 28. The RCV 152 will offer you a night special of 25 paise per MB from 11 PM to 7 AM and 50 paise per MB the rest of the day. A more aggressive Rs 351 RCV will give you 25 paise per MB charge throughout the day. Postpaid customers can get a 450 monthly plan for a bundled usage of 512 MB per month and 50 paise per MB afterwards. All the vouchers are valid for 30 days only.
