Blackberry Pearl 3G coming through

Users with a sense of élan have always rolled out red carpet for Blackberry units. To catch the eye of snazzy users, Telstra has smoothed the way to unfurl the sophisticated Blackberry Pearl 3G smartphone. The gorgeous looking device is anticipated to be available in Australia later this month.

Fashioned for users with complete trig, the unit conjugates the best of the Blackberry smartphone experience with social networking features and an exquisite, highly-compact design. It also features the famous push-based Blackberry Email experience. It is light and compact and makes one-handed typing pretty simple and easy.

Claimed to be the smallest handset trotted out from Blackberry’s portfolio, the Pearl 3G is designed to be compact and powerful. It measures less than two inches wide and weighs only 93 grams. To render a great user experience, the device supports the high-speed 3G networks, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and GPS. An integrated powerful processor ensures a sharp, high-resolution display.

“Telstra is pleased to be the launch partner for this slim and powerful smartphone which will be available exclusively for three months on Telstra’s Next G network. Its eye-catching design and smart 20-key QWERTY keyboard with SureType software will win fans amongst people who like to keep in touch via email, text message, through Facebook or via Twitter throughout the day,” commented Telstra Executive Director Mobility Products, Ross Fielding.

The experience also subsumes Blackberry Messenger, an exclusive instant messaging service which enables users to create groups and share pictures, send voice notes and share calendars with other friends using Blackberry Messenger.

The classy Blackberry Pearl 3G smartphone will be available from Telstra in Royal Purple and Piano Black. It is scheduled to arrive in Australia later this month.
