Dell brings forth a new array of PCs that are aimed at suiting all the needs of multitasking customers. The company unveils the Dell Studio XPS 7100 PC as well as region-specific systems like the Inspiron M301z, Inspiron M501R with Vision technology from AMD. These offerings provide users with multimedia creation, social networking and various forms of entertainment.
According to the company, Dell Studio XPS 7100 is one among the very first desktops to support the AMD Phenom II X6 six-core processor with AMD Turbo Core technology. It also houses quad-core Athlon II processors for attaining an impressive 3D gaming experience as well as superior multimedia capabilities and quick HD media creation. All these attributes are packed into a sleek tilt-back appearance drenched in premium Carbide Silver color.
The PC also features a 460-watt power supply for supporting hardware upgrades such as 225W class graphics and AMD 125W class CPUs. It also provides customers with up to 16GB DDR3 dual-channel memory and up to 3TB of hard drive storage. Users can espy built-in ports like eSATA, HDMI and Optical SPDIF for digital connections as well as 19-in-one media card reader and support for SATA 6GB/s hard drives.

The Dell Inspiron M301z laptop is noted to be a lightweight system and measures just less than one inch thin. It boasts of a stunning 13.3-inch widescreen display and houses up to an AMD Turion II Neo K625 II low-voltage processor for an extended battery life while traveling. Bearing a svelte curvy appearance, the M301z comprises of a built-in ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics, a maximum 8GB memory, hard drives up to 640GB and built-in HDMI port. It also has the ability to connect to a large TV or monitor screen.
The Dell Inspiron M501R graces the acclaimed Inspiron series with quad-core performance. It brings to customers AMD Phenom II Quad-Core processor complete with integrated ATi Mobility Radeon graphics or optional ATi Mobility Radeon discrete graphics. The computing system also features a 15.6-inch high-definition widescreen display and includes 640GB hard drive and 8GB memory storage. Dell splashes the offering with brushed color finishes, curved edges, new contours and chrome accents. For a comfortable typing experience, customers can take advantage of the smudge-resistant palm rest and full-size keyboard with adjacent 10-key numeric keypad.
The Dell Studio XPS 7100 bears a starting price of $699 (approx. Rs.31,592) and can be picked up from the company’s official website now and is expected to hit participating retailers shortly. The Dell Inspiron M301z will unveil into Japan, China and Europe markets in the following weeks. The Dell Inspiron M501R is scheduled to unfurl later this summer in the U.S. and Europe.
